outlines strict conditions regarding exchanges, warranties, and final sales.
Sales, Returns & Exchanges Overview
While most purchases are final, Parts For Less does offer exchanges under specific circumstances.
Installation is permitted solely for the purpose of verifying that the part is functional and correct. Any use
beyond testing (continued driving, damage, or modification) may void eligibility.
Exchanges for Defective or Incorrect Parts
Exchanges are permitted within 7 days of purchase under the following conditions:
1. Defective Part
An exchange may be approved if:
- The part is defective and not functioning properly
- The defect is identified during initial installation or testing only
- The request is made within 7 days of purchase
2. Incorrect Part Ordered
If a customer orders the wrong part, Parts For Less may offer
an exchange provided that (we may ask for video proof or photos):
- The part was installed only to verify fitment or functionality
- The part shows no signs of damage, misuse, or modification
- The exchange request is made within 7 days of purchase
No refunds are issued. Exchanges are subject to inspection and approval. No exchanges will be accepted
after 7 days.
Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances:
- Parts that have been damaged beyond installation testing
- Electrical components (stereo, radio, amplifier, control modules/computers, fuse box, camera/sensors)
- Customized or special-order parts
- Parts damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or continued operation after a defect is identified
Parts Warranty (Powertrain Only)
Parts For Less provides a 90-day parts-only warranty unless otherwise stated strictly limited to the
following powertrain components:
- Engines
- Transmissions
- Transfer cases
- Differentials
This warranty covers the replacement of the defective part only, where the defect is determined to have
existed at the time of sale and is attributable to Parts For Less. All other parts are sold with no
warranty expressed or implied. Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by Parts For
Less. This warranty does not cover labor costs, installation, diagnostics, towing, fluids, seals, gaskets,
downtime, loss of use, or any related or consequential expenses.
Exchange Process
To request an exchange for a defective item:
- Contact our Customer Service team within 7 days of purchase.
- Provide proof of purchase and details of the defect.
- If approved, you will receive instructions for returning the item.
Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Shipping Costs & Damage Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs unless the defect is confirmed to be the result of an error
on our end. Parts For Less is not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping. All parts are carefully
packaged prior to shipment; however, once the shipment is in the carrier’s possession, liability transfers to
the carrier.
Shipping damage will not be covered unless additional shipping insurance is purchased at the time of
checkout. Without added insurance, the customer assumes all risk of loss or damage during transit. Any
shipping damage must be reported directly to the carrier in accordance with their claims process.
Limited 90-Day Parts-Only Warranty (Powertrain Components)
Parts For Less provides a limited 90-day parts-only warranty unless otherwise stated exclusively for the
following powertrain components: Engines, Transmissions, Transfer cases, and Differentials. This warranty
covers defects in materials or workmanship that are determined to have existed at the time of sale, under
normal use and service, for 90 days from the date of purchase.
Coverage Exclusions: This limited warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, overheating, lack of maintenance, or improper
installation
- Any modifications, disassembly, or repairs performed without prior written authorization from Parts For
Less
- Parts used for racing, competition, off-road abuse, or commercial overloading
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
- Seals, gaskets, sensors, belts, hoses, fluids, batteries, filters, or routine maintenance items
- Labor, installation, diagnostics, towing, storage, downtime, or loss of use
All non-powertrain parts are sold with no warranty expressed or implied.
